In intercollegiate football, Augustana has won 4 national titles (1983, 1984, 1985, 1986) while collecting 21 CCIW championships, 15 playoff appearances, and 22 athletes named as the conference player of the year.  A total of 80 Augie players have earned the coveted All-American status while 23 have been named to the prestigious Academic All-American team.
