Augustana Football has long been among the nations top Division III programs. Head Coach Jim Barnes and his experienced staff have developed a program that focuses not only on outstanding football, but also in building outstanding young men that are prepared for life after college.

The players are taught the Habits of a Champion, a mission statement that filters through every level and every activity of the entire program. Off the field, every student-athlete playing football is required to work with the Game Plan for Success, a system designed to teach the young men time management, organization, and accountability. This game plan extends to the field and beyond, developing professionals for life.
